Shuttle Car Conveyors can convey and sort boxes onto different offloading conveyors. When entering the system the boxes are scanned before being transferred onto the shuttle car and then shuttle to the designated location and transferred.
These conveyors consist of a sub frame which runs on rails parallel to the flow of the product with conveyors mounted on top which off loads the product onto specific conveyor lines.
The shuttle cars are controlled with VSD to ramp up / down to align with accumulation spurs. Braking / targeting is done by inverter regenerative braking as conventional brake motors loose accuracy as mechanics heat up causing over run when operating a higher speeds.
Shuttle car conveyors are a fast and efficient way of transferring product.
